The ForePaaS Summit Throwback is an opportunity to bring together each year our ecosystem of customers and partners to share our successes and vision for the future.
This year, we chose to focus on the Machine Learning capabilities of the ForePaaS Platform and in particular the deployment automation of AI applications at the Summit Throwback. The objective is to discuss successful projects developed with our clients and partners, and to decline this trajectory into concrete functionalities for our users.

Embedded Analytics
Laurent Leca, Chief Product Officer at Proximis, a startup specialized into “unified commerce”, shared with us how they worked with ForePaaS to “unlock statistics” of their e-commerce product.
Perspectives on Machine Learning
Matthieu Jonckheere and Pascal Moyal, both teachers in applied maths, and Cyrille Breucq, former partner at June Partners and currently founder of the Brain3 Agency, gave their opinions, from an academic and corporate perspectives, on the state-of-the-art of AI in enterprise considering this fact that speaks for itself: 9 out of 10 AI/ML projects never make it to production.
Product roadmap
Paul Sinaï and Thomas Trinelle, respectively CEO and Platform Product Manager at ForePaaS, recalled the most important steps taken in 2019 (launch of product documentation, getting started tutoriel, ETL redesign, processing of unstructured data…), and presented our 2020 ambitions. On the menu:
- Strengthen our self-service approach to allow all our new users to get onboard more and more autonomously on the platform to accelerate even more the time-to-market of their AI applications
- Facilitate the deployment of AI models by improving the connections between exploratory notebooks and other components of your project (data management, data processing, etc.) and strenghtening integrations with the most used frameworks.
- Launch our Data Processing Engine, new-age ETL: a flexible orchestration service allowing to integrate functions and scripts to deploy processing pipelines from any source
Operational management at GEFCO
Finally, Ludivine Bitone, Supply Chain Project Manager at GEFCO and Arthur Edi, consultant at June Partners, gave their feedback on the operational management solution deployed with ForePaaS, as much on the scoping phase and choice of the final solution as on the implementation itself and first results achieved. All our partners and customers made the Summit Throwback a success.
